Image Identification Patent for iOS and Mac Revealed



A new Apple patent filing revealed, which may be allocated iOS and Mac users to validate their identity without the need to use a password, a third party application in order to unlock an Apple product.

According to the patent, users can unlock their devices through iOS and Mac image identification. The system will display an image to the user of iPhoto or iCloud profiles which then asks the user to identify who or what the content of the image, in order to unlock the device. For added security, users can set the system displays additional pictures, if someone who does not have permission to be able to identify the first picture by chance.


Identify the images can be done in several ways such as multiple choice, or leopard screen display so that users can type the answer in question.
