For those of you who like a design of ZTE Grand S but want a cheaper price, ZTE did have a 'twinning' of this phone. Named ZTE V987, this smartphone has specifications that are not less greater like Grand S.
Unlike the Grand S that uses CPU Snapdragon S4 Krait quad-core processor, ZTE V987 uses quad-core CPU MediaTek.
Details, ZTE V987 MediaTek MT6589 embedded processor quad-core 1.2 GHz processor, 5-inch HD display, 8MP rear camera with LED, 1 MP front camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and priced at 1699 yuan (about USD 2.6 million). Smartphone with dimensions 141x70x9, 2mm and weighing 160 grams is already using the new Android, version 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Interestingly, although ZTE V987 is priced cheaper than the Grand S, the smartphone will have a battery powered 2.500mAh. Capacity is greater than the Grand S with battery 1.780mAh. In addition, ZTE V987 is a phone with dual-SIM, CDMA and GSM.
